Last Night

To kick off this photo blog thing, I thought it would be a good idea to start with the end..of classes and the Germans. That's right Germans. Check it out. I apologize for the sucking of this entry, it will get better.


What would an evening with Germans be without beer? (All be it Canadian and Belgian.)


Or everyone putting on the face of their favourite dictator? ooops. (don't worry this was all jokes.)

Some other things that just sort of happened

We kept taking photos of the opposite side of the table, so we made them take a photo of us, pretending to having a really amazing conversation. We weren't.



Eventually things gotta kind of crazy and we started to....


Dance fight! That's right...Jess ready to kick some ass.


Lisa will crush you, if you're not careful that is.


Always competitive, Carolyn has not only the best move.


But two moves!


Apparently Mike's move involves ballerina twirling?


Paulien's move was too quick for me to catch, but...


she and Carolyn demonstrated on Mike... got his ass danced kicked by girls. what a wimp.


And again... yikes, totally getting schooled.


Suddenly, he didn't want to be photographed


And then he started to wave his arms around...


and Carolyn and him made up and started to dance not-fight.


Eventually Mike just got on the table and we felt bad, so Carolyn tipped the guy. (ok she was totally just paying for drinks...but it's funnier this way)

The finale

So this is the only group shot we have, we asked the amazingly drunk guys at the table next to us to take it. I didn't really trust them with my camera for too long. The photo had to be slightly cropped because I managed to spill an entire pitcher of beer on myself and my pants were dripping wet. D'oh! At least it wasn't our pitcher and no one claimed it.

Let's explain the premise of the evening: we all had a German lit class together for the entire year and most of us had another class together second semester. It was 10 of us, 9 of which made it this particular evening. We have another class together, but none of those folks showed up, unfortunately. There was a huge disappointment when neither of our profs showed up, but we stole some other people's tables and still had a good time.
